Mr. Akavan is the Founder, CEO and President of MA Engineers.  MA Engineers is a full-service mechanical engineering firm providing professional consulting services for a variety of facility types.  Mr. Akavan oversees the day-to-day operations of the company.  He has attended a multitude of leadership training, including all Franklin Covey and Dale Carnegie seminars. 

Mr. Akavan graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, he went on to obtain is Masters in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Northridge. He is a certified professional mechanical engineer.  He believes firmly that the Montessori theory of teaching provides an education in creativity, problem solving, critical thinking and social skills for children of all ages.

Mr. Akavan is a sustaining member of the community and is involved with numerous non-profit organizations, such as, The YMCA, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, American Heart Association, Red Cross, Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and the ACE Mentoring program.  Mr. Akavan serves on the board of the YMCA Downtown and is proud to be a board member of the Sante Fe Montessori School.
