1. Does Santa Fe Montessori provide bus service?
No, SFMS does not provide bus service at this time. We are conveniently located off the Lomas Santa Fe Drive exit on the I-5.
2. What days will my toddler attend class?
You can enroll your toddler for 5 full days or 5 half days.
3. Do you offer a half-day program in the Children's House?
We do not offer a half-day program in the Children's House. However, you may choose to pick-up your Children’s House student at 12:30 or 12:45. Tuition is not reduced for half-day students.
4. Do you provide before and after-school care?
Yes. We provide day care for elementary students from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. and from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and for Children’s House students from 7:30- 8:30 a.m. and from 2:30 - 5:00 p.m. Day care must be paid for in advance. Day care is also provided on those days when school is closed for parent conferences and teacher meetings, but not on national holidays.
No. Students bring their own healthy, nutritious lunches. We do not have cafeteria facilities on campus.
No. SFMS students do not wear a uniform. We do have a simple dress code for students. We ask that students wear appropriate clothes for work and play, and avoid items that may be construed as inappropriate or offensive to others.
7. Where do students go after graduating SFMS?
Our students continue on to local public and private schools, including The Bishop’s School, The Grauer School, Santa Fe Christian, Francis-Parker, and La Jolla Country Day.
Yes. Testing is one measure of evaluation. We test all elementary students once a year beginning in second grade.
